More info for a novice

I'm getting started on my project to store my CDs (around 500) to my WD My Cloud NAS connected to my home A/V system. I haven't purchase dbpoweramp yet and will probably purchase the R16 bundle. My A/V receiver is an Integra DRX2.1 connected to my ethernet LAN via a Luxul Epic 4 router and controlled via a Control 4 EAI - Universal Remote & Control Processor w/1OS control. Since I have a limited understanding of how the Asset UPnP program interfaces with the hardware I am wondering if downloading the program would just be redundant or if I would enhance my system. Any clarification would be appreciated.

If using the WS NAS, it will have its own UPnP server, however it will not be as featured as Asset. Asset will not run on your NAS.
