    Asset for Linux memory leak

I'm running the Asset v6 in a docker on unRAID and it keeps consuming huge amounts of RAM and being killed,

    eg:

    Mar 16 22:12:13 Tower kernel: [ pid ] uid tgid total_vm rss nr_ptes nr_pmds swapents oom_score_adj name
    Mar 16 22:12:13 Tower kernel: [32438] 0 32438 1921906 1886086 3772 10 0 0 AssetUPnP

Mar 16 22:12:13 Tower kernel: Out of memory: Kill process 32438 (AssetUPnP) score 626 or sacrifice child
    Mar 16 22:12:13 Tower kernel: Killed process 32438 (AssetUPnP) total-vm:7687624kB, anon-rss:7544344kB, file-rss:0kB, shmem-rss:0kB
    Mar 16 22:12:13 Tower kernel: oom_reaper: reaped process 32438 (AssetUPnP), now anon-rss:0kB, file-rss:0kB, shmem-rss:0kB

It will typically run for a day or two then suddenly jump in RAM usage and be killed, or if I'm unlucky Linux will choose my Windows VM and kill that....

    Should I try the latest 6.1 beta 4 ?

    Thanks.

    Fixed here:

A beta version of Asset R6.1 for Mac & Linux has is available for testing. Current version: R6.1 beta 9 <now released> Changes since R6: Fixed ugly Asset device image due to outdated included image. Fixed missing album art for some folders when browsing by filenames & folders. Fixed "download

basically your LG tv tries to scan every asset tree item, which recurse indefinitely.

Didn't appear to fix it, still getting killed:

Mar 17 21:09:07 Tower kernel: Out of memory: Kill process 31472 (AssetUPnP) score 603 or sacrifice child
        Mar 17 21:09:07 Tower kernel: Killed process 31472 (AssetUPnP) total-vm:7392024kB, anon-rss:7265916kB, file-rss:0kB, shmem-rss:0kB
        Mar 17 21:09:07 Tower kernel: oom_reaper: reaped process 31472 (AssetUPnP), now anon-rss:0kB, file-rss:0kB, shmem-rss:0kB

        :-(

Please enable debug logging in Asset settings, apply settings, recreate the issue, then email logs + configuration dump to peter@dbpoweramp.com for analysis.

          Thanks.

It's been behaving so far, if it fails I'll email you the requested data.

            Regards.
