    Beginner questions from Qnap user

    Hi all,
Firstly, A really great piece of sofware if the focus is on music serving. Much better if compared to the various competitors. Thx for that.

I wonder if it is possible to change element names in the browse tree. In my specific case i just would like to change the naming of 'Folders & File Name Browsing' to 'Folders'.

A more question that arized is regarding the root element. I do not get it's function. Ist this element to be considered the most parent element and all others are child elements? And what could be the reason to use root as child element?
    Thx

The root item takes the tree back to the root, it simplifies the tree design, for example after selecting genre it goes to the root.

It is possible to change the text, however it is quite difficult to do on the qnap as it involves ssh to the qnap and editing a text file, you have used ssh before?

Thx for your answer. I have used SSH with my Qnap long time ago. I'll manage that again I think. What text file needs to be edited and how? Thank you for your support.
      Regards

        The file is:

        AssetUPnPUserRenameList.txt

Instructions are in the file, you can find this file:

        /share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/Asset/bin/.dBpoweramp/
