thanks for the link, but Im using asset upnp now on my windows 7 computer, its just that im thinking of changing my PC which currently is an intel cpu to an AMD cpu, so what im basically asking is does asset need to be run on an intel cpu only, hope ive explained it correctly

Yes.

PCs (motherboard/chipset etc.) support different operating systems. Software is written to run under different operating systems. Asset UPnP runs under many operating systems, including Windows 7.
