    Raspi mounting share

    Hi

    I have followed the instructions here but I cannot mount the share in my nas. (//192.168.1.31/music /home/pi/nas cifs cifs rsize=3843360,guest,_netdev,sec=ntlm 0 0) when typing this info and with my nas ip the share is media but with in that share is several folders one of which is music. Do I have to add a further instruction?

    Re: Raspi mounting share

    Hi,

    In the Asset configuration the 'Watched Media folders' is then:
    /home/pi/nas/Music
    /home/pi/nas/DSD
    /home/pi/nas/MQA

    Where Music, DSD, MQA are the directories/folders containing the files to be scanned and indexed by Asset.

    Also does your NAS support NFS mounts, as these can be faster than CIFS, given than many NAS units operate using embedded Linux OS variants, and NFS is native to Linux.

    The /etc/fstab entry mount entry for a Read Only is:
    //192.168.1.31/music /home/pi/nas nfs ro 0 0

    Thanks,
    Simon.
