Assett server won't play some of my hd 24-96 files

Hello,

I've just downloaded a trial version of assett for windows. Some of my HD files won't play. It starts and then it stops and my pioneer streamer restarts. If I play the files with another server it plays just fine. What is the problem? I'm I doing something wrong?

Is wifi being used in any part of Asset >> Pioneer?

No there is no wifi between asset and Pioneer. It's connected through a lan cable

What format are your hd files?

My hd files are 24-96 flac files. It's strange i've got a lot of hd flac and the most just work fine.

Set asset to transcode those files to wave, it could be the pioneer cannot decode those flac files. On Assets advanced configuration page set 'FLAC as Wav'

It are the same files. If I play them with another server then there are no problems.

Universal media server Windows Media Player.

I think there is something wrong with the files.If i covert them to wav files they won't play also.

Try running Test Conversion on the offending flac files. Do you get any errors?

Problem solved. It had something to do with the size of the artwork file. I set asset to resize the artwork and now the play fine.

Great.

I have experienced similar issues with the client not able to display artwork, if it is too large. Seems here, the Pioneer might even have been crashing, hence the Pioneer restarting.
