    Searching within a music track?

    My Situation:

Using BubbleUPnP latest version on Android.
Using Asset 5.2 running on Window 10 Pro.

I was wondering if when using Asset it is possible to perform a search or seek within a track? I occasionally listen to tracks exceeding ten minutes in length and sometimes prefer to jump to a particular section of the music. This does not seem to be possible.

However, using the same BubbleUPnP app on my Android phone, when I use Foobar2000 UPnP server with the same music folders, I am able to easily skip around within a track by merely pressing on the play length bars of BubbleUPnP that extend between the start and finish times of the given track.

Is there a simple setting or configuration within the Asset Server application that I need to enable to activate this functionality? Thank you.

There is nothing specific you need to enable to allow searching. BubbleUPnP is playing back the audio (is control point and renderer)?

Perhaps ask them why seeking is not available.

The BubbleUPnP app is the controller for the source and renderer. The seeking within the track that I'm talking about is "not working" using Asset as the source. It does work when I use Foobar2000 without modifying any settings in the BubbleUPnP app (other than switching between Asset and Foobar2000 as the source. What I'm wondering if there is anything in the configuration for Asset that I need to enable to make it work?

I will also check with BubbleUPnP to see if they know why seeking within tracks does not work when using the Asset server source.
