Newbie Asset OSX- no music showing up

I just purchased and downloaded Asset on a MacBook to use with a Simaudio Neo ACE integrated with MiND management. Once installed, Asset immediately found the music folder on my external drive. Yet even though the MiND app on my iPad 2 Air shows Asset as the UPnP Media Server, no music or artists are showing up, all I get is for any letter selected is "Empty directory!". I've looked for a "scan" button or something like it but am lost. Help please!

Asset will tell you how many tracks it has indexed on the status page, does it?

Spotted the error, Asset went to the file on the internal hard drive, similar name to external. I would recommend in the direction that anybody using an external drive not to count on Asset spotting the file navigation automatically and instead use the search step.

      Great product BTW!
