I have a computer set up to use as a media server.
It runs Win 10.
It is connected to my tv, wireless modem and a Seagate nas drive.
The 4 TB NAS drive has my music library (mostly flac) - 2.41 TB 202,546 files in 13,467 folders.
Logged on as a user with admin privileges I have downloaded and installed Asset Upnp.
I have set the media paths to be the music folders on the nas drive.
It recognizes them and has done a full scan.
All was working well.
I could access and play my library from my phone/tablet using Mediamonkey or Bubbleupnp at very acceptable speeds.
However a couple of times now the scan has returned to 0 and I have had to rescan.
I suspect the fault is me accessing the computer using Remote Desktop Connection.
Any suggestions on how to better install it on the computer?
Remote access is not essential, but useful.
I would appreciate any advice.
