How to update Asset on WHS 2011

I have a WHS 2011 server with life time premium Asset license.

What is the intended procedure to upgrade to latest version, e.g., to 5.2 from 5.1?

If there are several ways to do it, then let me know them all.

Unistall the old version, you can install the trial and it will self register if previously Asset has been registered.

Thanks for the answer.

Shall I work with the installation directly on the WHS server (remote login from laptop) or should I work on my laptop (as described in the installation instructions)?

I should mention that I have not managed to install the remote Dashboard/Console on my laptop. So I do a remote login on the server every time I should do anything on it.

Remote desktop is best, create a new folder:

c:\install

on the whs server and run the installer from there.
