    What firmware are you running on the OPPO BDP-83?

    What file format is your audio library?

    In Asset UPnP Configuration >> Advanced Settings >> Settings Override (Control Point Specific)
    do you have anything here, related to OPPO, if so, what?

      last official. BDP83-60-1110

      Varies mp3, flac, and ogg. Mostly flac. Flac and ogg transcoded to pcm.

        Try the FLAC 'as wav' then 'as lpcm', for the LPCM enable debugging in asset, play one track and post the debug log please.
