    Marantz AV7702 Mk2 not displaying folder.jpg

Hi - I have had a full version of Asset UPnP for many years and was happy with the software with my Marantz AV7005 av pre-processor.
However I have just "upgraded" to the Marantz AV7702Mk2 box for 4k and hdr handling, BUT I now get no album art folder.jpg displaying.
Artwork does display with WMP on Windows 10 but only mp3 is aupported so I am stuffed.
I have an open issue with Marantz support but they cannot (as yet) suggest a solution.
If Spoon or anybody can shed light I would be grateful.
In the meantime I will update this post if Marantz support come up with a solution - I have just asked them to use Asset UpNp rather than WMP for testing.
    Thanks

Well I like the random playback feature that I paid for in Asset upnp but I guess I will have to look elsewhere?

And here is the final Marantz response which I don't really understand other than they can't / won't fix the issue. If Spoon or someone more knowledgeable than me can fix AssetUpNp them Hurrah ;-(

"First of all thank you for your patience whilst our product specialists and engineers in Japan reviewed your ticket. They have confirmed that what you are experiencing is normal behaviour and is specification of both the units and Asset UPnP. I will explain this below:-

There is a difference in the DLNA certifications of both the AV7702 and AV7005 units. Please see documents attached to the "mystuff section of your user portal. These can also be viewed by clicking on the link below:-

As you can see the AV-7702 is certified as a DMP ( Digital Media Player ) and DMR ( Digital Media Renderer ), The AV-7005 as a DMR only. In more simplistic terms a unit certified by DLNA.org for DMP will use an additional command to query for album art. This is part of the DLNA certification for a Digital Media Player. As the AV-7005 was certified as a DMR only this command was not checked by DLNA.

On the other hand the 7702 is certified for both DMP and DMR and all the requirements for DLNA certification.

When the AVR is used as DMP, the AVR is designed to get only the information needed itself from a server using the Browse/Filter command of UPnP. In this case, when the AVR has used the albumArtURI@dlna option of Filter command, the server UPNP gives no response of the Album Art address.

Since the support of AlbumArtURI is mandatory requirement of DLNA, there can be no workaround in the AVR. Due to this we can only recommend using a media server that is DLNA certified or supports the above functionality like Twonky Media Server.

We hope that this clarifies the situation for you and apologise for any inconvenience."

Thanks Spoon - I am not technical enough to understand what Marantz have done in but since Asset worked fine on the AV7005 but is now failing to dispaly graphics, I hope it's easy to fix?
Any idea when that might be..?
        Thanks again

Are you able to enable the debug log in asset, do one browse where art should be displayed, then post the contents of the log here please.

The issue is not with asset, which supports all dlna methods of getting art,
