How do libraries update in Asset, and how do I re-open configuration?

I hope this isn't too daft a question. I've installed Asset, and found it much better than a couple of other options I had tried.

Before I go ahead and purchase, however, could someone please answer the following.

How does it update, when I add new files to my music collection? Does it operate constantly, on the fly? Or do I need to start it up and rescan the library for changes?

If it's the latter, how do I open Asset. There was no desktop icon when I installed it (Windows 10), and none of the application icons in Windows explorer seem to open it. Even pinning the icon to the taskbar doesn't seem to re-open it once it's been closed.

Surely I don't need to re-install Asset every time, just to be able to see the configuration box?

This is such a basic question that I'm sure there must be a simple answer.

Asset creates an icon in the start menu, click Windows button >> all apps

there will be Asset there with the title Asset Configuration.

Thanks for that Spoon - I can see that now. Could you please answer the other part of my question.

Do I need to actively request the app to update my music collection, or does it do it on the fly, without prompting?

If all files are held locally on the PC then it is automatic, if they are on a network share, once a certain number of files are on the share it has to be manually done - Rescan (detecting changes).
