    Possible incorrect trancode sample rate

    Hi All,
I have just downloaded and installed Asset for QNAP (TS-212P). My intention is to stream transcoded flac files to my Samsung TV UE32D5000 which is unable to play FLAC files but is able to play LPCM stream.
After just short configuration Asset started streaming very efficiently, though my QNAP model is not very powerful. It does what I wanted, transcode flac to something that Windows Media Player and Samsung TV can play. While music speed is correct on the WMP, pace on the Smasung TV is a bit fast, just like data are being sent with 48kHz sample rate instead of say 44.1kHz.
Does anybody know about setting which can fix this issue. What is this issue related to, Asset or Samsung TV?
Apart of this issue which I'm experiencing, Asset is very efficient and not source demanding application.

    Best regards

    M

You can enable the debug log for asset then serve a file to see what details are being presented.

      Dear Viktorija,
Please find log file. I started two songs to make a record of what is happening.

Dear Spoon, thanks for the reply.
I tried to explore about the streaming issues with Samsung TVs but without success. Meanwhile I tried also other media servers which offers similar functionality, Serviio and TVmobili. While Serviio produce sparking noise transcoding files, TVmobili provides correct transcoding in terms of sound quality, but it works noticable slower then Asset. Both servers provides correct sound pace what tells me that reason for my issue is not in the TV exclusively. Is there anything else I can try before my trial has expired?

              Dear Spoon,
I just tried to install Asset on Windows PC to see whether I'm going to experience the same issue. The result is that unlike QNAP app, Win app is streaming/transcode to correct sample rate. Music pace is correct, track lengths too. It seems that QNAP app works in a bit different way than win app. Renderer is the same, Samsung TV with the same settings, as far as I'm aware of. Any idea why this two apps communicate with the same device in different way?
Even streaming from network location, on NAS, Asset for win is still so efficient and superior.

              Regards

              M

In the mean time we have found this issue, the next beta update of R5 for qnap will fix
