    2026-07-13 Indexing issues

After updating last night to 2026-07-13 Asset is no longer indexing my music on my Synology 1821+ DSM 7.3.2-86009 Update 4.

    Things I've tried:-
    1. Checked the file permissions on the music, Asset System internal user = read/write
    2. Changed the folder to a folder in Music containing less music to speed up the indexing, no files indexed
    3. Tried both /volume1/@appdata/ContainerManager/all_shares/music/Afro Celt Sound System & x /volume1/music/Afro Celt Sound System.
    4. Removed and reinstalled 2026-07-13, no files indexed
    5. Removed 2026-07-13 and installed 7.5, files indexed

            Released Asset UPnP R2026-07-15

Applies to Linux, QNAP, Synology and Pi only.

Fixes an issue where tracks would not index.

I had the same issue and thanks to your suggestion now it's sorted.
Question: now Asset prompts me to update to version R2026-7-13.
If I do, will I run into the same indexing issue again?

It should NOT offer update to R2026-7-13. If it does, please don't install it.

What kind of system are you running? Plain Linux/QNAP/Synology? Raspberry Pi or an Intel-compatible PC?

Are you suggesting I'm using the wrong Asset version, not the one for Synology?

Sounds like it's caching a previous response for some reason. Nothing to worry about, just don't downgrade if it's showing older version than already installed.

The older update option doesn't show anymore now
