Asset failing to install on Synology NAS

I have been running Asset on my Synology DS415play NAS (DSM 6.2) for some years with no problems. Recently I have been unable to open Asset although I can still play music through Asset via my NAIM app on my iPhone. Neither can I upgrade to DSM 7. I have noticed that my NAS is almost full. I uninstalled Asset and tried to re-install a newer version (spk file) downloaded to my Mac but got no further than using Manual Install to upload it to the NAS from where it seemed to stall processing the file. I then spent some time deleting files from the NAS to the point where it was half empty. I managed to successfully upgrade to DSM 7.1.1-42962 and tried again to manually install Asset using the 'Asset-synology7-2025-03-12===AE164E96.spk' file with the same result: browse to the file, press Next and it just processes the file endlessly. I'm stuck.

It seems from further reading in this forum that I probably shouldn't have uninstalled Asset, but I have. I can still listen to my music via Synology's installed apps. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Try freeing up space on the nas, copy files off it, then a full restart. Then try to install.
