    Tag usage ORIGARTIST = TOPE

I use tagging extensively and follow the ID3v2.3 tags. Among many others, I use TOPE = ORIGARTIST.

In dbpoweramp, the identifier is displayed as 'artist(s)/performer(s)'. A container created with this name is displayed, but it is not filled.

Other programs, such as Lyrion 9.1 or mp3tag, display the tag correctly.

What can I do to display this tag in the asset?

You would have to rescan all music files (refresh all), if have done that try tag mapping:

The rename feature allows a displayed text elements to be renamed (such as changing 'Album Artist' in the first menu), or more powerfully when scanning the music tracks to process the ID Tags, such as add the year to the end of an album name. This feature can be found in: (Linux & Mac): Advanced tab, User Rename List

To OrigArtist then add that to tree, then rescan (refresh all)

I do scanning after every change in settings. I understood the tag mapping.

But I see a problem. How can I map something that is not available in the database?

The container for ORIGARTIST (TOPE), called 'artist(s)/performer(s)', is definitely empty even after scanning (at least nothing is displayed). Every other custom container I create shows its contents immediately. So I'm not making a mistake (I hope so).

Could it have to do with the unusual identifier of the container. Special characters such as / and () in the name are often problematic.

By the way, I have similar problems with the tags TOWN 'File owner/licensee' and TEXT 'Lyricist/Text Writer'. Both identifiers also have special characters. The identifier are from dbpoweramp.
