    Asset on QNAP: Detect Changes

    Hi,

i've a QNAP TS-451+, running Asset on it.
I've set the Path for my library to /share/media/ and there are files found but if i add new Music to this path the asset won't detect the changes, neither the switch detect changes is set.

What can it be? The files are accessible when i go through ssh to this path.

    Regards,
    Sebastian

If you manually trigger a rescan it will detect?

Re: Asset on QNAP: Detect Changes

        Thanks for your feedback.

Does it make any difference if you put new songs directly in the media folder (not a subfolder)?

Under Asset configuration, does a setting of "Check for New Tracks Interval (minutes)" appear for you, directly below "Detect & Catalog New Tracks" ? It's meant to be there only on systems that do not support folder monitoring (very old QNAP models, so this should not apply to yours but I have to make sure this is not the case).
