Any chance to run Asset on a WDMyCloud (ARMv7 Debian)?

I would really love to replace that nasty Twonky server running on the WDMyCloud by Asset, but there is no debian build available for its CPU architecture. Is there any other build I could try?

    Thank you!

After some more hacking the WDMyCloud I figured that it runs a custom debian build with a 64K page size. So if Spoon would be willing to provide an experimental build for this device (which I would be very happy to test extensively ), it should be compiled for ARMv7 and 64K page size. If it wasn't closed source I would try it myself...

Here is a guide on how to create packages for this system.

The WDMyCloud is a very popular device. I'm sure there would be some interest in such a build. It wouldn't even require any hacking to install it, as SSH root access to the device can conveniently be enabled on the web interface.

We now use crosstool-ng to generate toolchains that compile Asset:
        A versatile (cross) toolchain generator

If you can tell me what exact settings to use to produce a toolchain that targets this device, we can add support for it - you'll get a .tar.gz of binaries that run on WDMyCloud, and will have to install them manually.

Also please first try if Asset for Raspberry Pi runs on your device, since it's also ARMv7/Debian.
