    It made no difference to search, as search is based on the artist tag not on an index.

      Artist is in the index just like Artizt, but the essential is that your cp apparently cannot be tricked into using Artizt for the search. I was still curious about that since cp's could perform the search differently.

      For that reason, I just tested the rename list trick using Audionet RCP (Windows) - and there it seems to be working properly:

      Browsing & searching is based on Artizt, while Artist=Displayartist is used for displaying the search results and for "Now playing".

      This also means that the issue I mentioned earlier with
      Code:
      preformat:=artist:=[IFVALUE]displayartist,[tag]displayartist[],[multitag]artist[][]
      only indexing to single values doesn't matter since Artist=Displayartist is only used for displaying. So multiples should be concatenated, and Artist=Displayartist not used for browsing/searching. This was the initial idea with the trick, but it might only work in certain control points.

      Which one are you using? BubbleUPnP, Upplay, ?
