I’m trying to help a friend who runs asset on a brand new iMac. When we upgraded his iMac, we started having trouble with asset not showing over half of the 3000+ albums in his library. Asset worked just fine for years with his old iMac. We’ve tried asset with several different external hard drives containing the music library and get the same results. Any suggestions?
Asset only makes a portion of music library available

Likely the folders are not able to be read by asset (permissions from old mac). -
Spoon -- I'm back to trying to assist my friend. I tried to look at the permissions and didn't see anything obviously amiss. So I sent him an SSD that I use with Asset in my system (with my music library on it) and he's getting the same problem (albums appears to be present but then when attempting to play it can't find/play the song). Any suggestions? He's a registered user.Comment

possibly your player is not able to play that file type. Install foobar:
How you set up and use Foobar requires you to add a UPnP component . How do you do that for the Arylic Device? After that is done, it seems you can add the new component to Foobar to play your media via Arylic. Anybody tried this? Tips. I cant find any help anywhere? This may help me:
and try it to play the files off Asset.Comment

I don't think that's the issue. The files have played before on his older iMac, they play on my system, and they play with Plex. Other ideas?Comment

Enable debug logging in asset (in the settings), try to play 1 track, then disable the log, look at the log and paste here the last 20 lines please.Comment
