    Update speed

    Hi
    Two questions:-
1 When I add a new folder to my collection (stored on the HD) after a few minutes the folder shows but it can take 12 hours or more for the files (normally FLAC) to appear and be ready to play. As background, if I switch to Foobar as the library and restart it the folders and files will be ready to play in under a minute; if I restart Asset, it takes hours to reload all its files. Is there a setting I need to change please?
2 I went to the website and downloaded R5. This shows as R5.2BETA. Is it still beta or is there a link to the substantive release I have missed?

    many thanks

      Thanks for the quick response.

In total about 80,000. But in the new folders, each one has 4 or 5

So if you let it fully scan the 80,000 tracks. Then click the Refresh All (detecting changes), how quickly does it rescan?

About the Beta label showing, uninstall Asset, to be certain the old version has gone, then restart Windows and install the latest.
