OK, first try:
Asset R4.6.1 beta 2
The beta will function as registered on your system as you've used R4.6 registered before.
I found and fixed a problem similar to what you're describing, but are unable to confirm that what you were experiencing is entirely fixed, as most basic "genre" views seemed to work fine; lots of views under "advanced search" with more sophisticated criteria would not work correctly in R4.6 but should now be fixed.

Update: now at beta 2. Forgot to disable debug code before making beta 1, now fixed.

I'm running Asset R5.2beta, Library Contains 93868 Tracks, 2928 Albums. ArtStorev5.bin is 1.17GB. Are you saying this is a indicative of a problem?

Album artwork cache size is not related to this bug as far as I am aware of at this point.

It is my opinion that Asset's image cache size should not be allowed to grow this large - personally I'd be bothered if I found out that some app's profile data is using 1GB of my system partition space, so I noted it as a potential improvement for a future version.

3000 albums with art of 300KB each one = about 1GB of data.

For me, the new 4.6.1 beta solved the problem I got with 4.6.

'Album by release' was not working, now it's ok

(Naim App with Naim Superuniti - Asset on my Mac mini)

I note that there's no icon for "Album Artist", in Kinsky, even NAIM n-Stream app.

Will be welcome to see an icon too (like Artist one), for the premium version.

Sorry, cannot confirm. Please clarify, what exact browse tree section is missing icons? Screenshot maybe?
UPDATE Disregard the above, confirmed and fixed.

p.s I note that "Album Artist / Album" work correctly.
