    Library Exclusions

    Hello,
    I am trying to understand how the library exclusion section works. I am on Synology DSM7.2.
    My goal is to exclude multichannel tracks from my library. My idea to achieve this was to add a MULTICHANNEL string in the comment tag, and then excluding all tracks containing this comment.
    Has this approach any chance to work ?

    Thanks for your help!

    You would be best to move those tracks to another folder structure away from the main music.

    Something like dBpoweramp Batch Converter could easily highlight all those files (run batch converter, select root folder >> List, then sort on Channels).

      Well, I can certainly do that (put these files somewhere else), but for some other reason I would prefer not.
      Is there any way to exclude them with help of the library exclusion module ?

          With the comment field you mean ?
          I have added
          comment:=MULTICHANNEL
          but files with this comment are still there. Any syntax trick I have missed ?

            Maybe I was not clear but my goal is to use Asset UPnP library exclusion module (my server is Asset UPnP). My question was regarding the syntax used by this module (in the advanced tab) and whether adding a line
            "comment:=MULTICHANNEL"
            to it is sufficient or not ?
