    Viewing Albums and Singles/EPs

Hi I'm hoping someone can help me with a configuration or at least point me in the right direction.

I use the "RELEASETYPE" tag on all of my music which is currently being served my both Plex and Asset UPnP.

On Plex when I select an artist I can view both albums and singles/eps separately. I was wondering if there is a similar thing I can do on Asset. i.e. select artist then see a selection for either Album or singles/eps. I know I could do this with folder view, but this would mean me splitting out the music into the respective folders. Just wondered if it could be automated through the use of the RELEASETYPE tag.

    Thanks.

I have just done the following (Asset running on Synology) ...

Added "Mood" as a tag in one song using MP3Tag (other tag names and tag software are available ).

In Asset ... Go to "Advanced" and then "Edit database fields" and added "Mood" without the quotes to the end of the list.

Go to "Advanced" and then "Edit Browse Tree" and ... Insert before ... which created a "[not set]" row in the browse tree list.

Click "[not set]" to drop down the list of available values and select "Mood" and tick in the box for "A to Z".

Mood then appears as a selectable top level option when browsing with player software. I guess ... Insert into ... might be what you want.
