    Could not start UPnP service

    Hi all,

Have come in from work this evening to find that Asset is not showing on my iPad. Further investigation shows a message "Could not start UPnp service, port bind failure, please close other..." and I can't read the rest.

Asset vers 4.5 on my Mac mini. I have installed and reinstalled with no sucess.

Any thoughts? I am now without music!!!

It means something is blocking it, or something else has the port open already. Try a full shutdown and restart of the computer.

Hi Spoon. First of all thank you for a speedy response.

I think i have found the problem. i also use Logitech Media Server. Some how in the "advanced" section under "networking' the UPnP client had become enabled. Disabling this resolved the issue. Curious how this happened. Anyway if anyone else experiences this maybe my post may help.
