Play 24 bit files

Asset UPNP has suddenly stopped playing 24 bit files through my Cyrus streamer. 16 bit files are playing as usual. Any ideas?

No, it simply doesn't play. It began a few days ago when suddenly the streamer stopped seeing the server altogether. I found an issue with the firewall, and the server reappeared. Now it will only play 16 bit files. My music files are stored on a Windows 11 PC, with file duplication by Stablebit. Thanks for your interest.

Can you try another player? even a software player such as foobar2000 with the upnp

My PC will play all music using Foobar2000 and VLC. I don't now how to feed that through to my streamer. I'm starting to think that the problem is in my streamer rather than in the PC software. But I can't see why 16 bit files play perfectly while 24 bit files won't play at all. Actually the Cyrus Cadence app does indicate that 24 bit files are playing, but there is no sound.

I've installed Serviio. Same problem.

I can stream 24 bit files through my TV. Looks like the streamer is the problem.
