    R2024-12-16 issues / M2 Mac Mini (Sequoia 15.2)

Well, I made the leap to R2024-12-16 and all was well and good for a while… but as with the last update, I’ve now run into issues, so I’ve reverted back to R2023-05-15, which remains stable:

After a few days of using R2024-12-16 without issue, I noticed the following:
    • All my files tagged as “Album Artist, The” are now displaying as “The Album Artist” in the Naim app
    • Switching the handling between “Leave as is” or “Convert to (value), The” does not fix the issue, even after library rescans and app/computer/router restarts
Then it seems the multiple restarts threw something else into the mix:
    • the Album Artist list in the Naim app displayed as usual (except for the still incorrect “The Album Artist” sorting), but the app refused to show any of the albums listed under each Album Artist selection (displaying a “spinning” icon without ever loading the albums), even after additional restarts.

Changing any of those would require a Rescan (Refresh All), did you try that?

Yes... as mentioned in my original post.

        Thanks for the bug report.

Please grab a configuration dump, in Troubleshooting page, normal version (large is for album art issue debugging) and email to peter@dbpoweramp.com .
Include screenshots of incorrect Naim app display.

Note that you can have old and new Asset at the same time, just don't run both at once or tell new to erase old version leftovers. Can run the one you're testing from the DMG directly, while having your daily use Asset in Applications.

Thanks for the email with details.
Two bugs affecting your configuration have been addressed in today's build.
For "the" reordering fix to take full effect, change "the artist" handling to "leave as is"; if it's already at that, do a full database rescan (clear database, rescan all folders) to clear old version leftovers.
