Updating Raspberry Pi now there is a update link?

With the link on the Asset's front page showing update to a newer version, does it link only to the file to download? Is there a new process to update a Raspberry Pi from a registered version? It has been a while since I updated mine. I could not see a sticky about upgrading other then saying "Always install new version on top of existing Asset installation". Download and install from the same directory as the previous install using install.sh?
