Thanks for the reply, this is most useful, from the looks of it we either fail to open() the files or to flock() them afterwards, most likely the latter.

We'll post a new build with attempted fix and additional debug logging shortly.

Hi,

some feedback from my side: I just installed Asset 4.4 (current version from the download page) on my TS-651 (newest firmware) and didn't face any problems during scanning the library.

Just found this thread after having the same problem on a QNAP HS-251. I've since uninstalled the old version & installed Mr Spoon's beta test version, and it now works fine! Many thanks!

Which version were you using before? R4.5 is in the testing section of this forum.

4.4 I guess. I'd only just installed Asset on my new QNAP.

I just tested the Asset 4.51 beta on my HS-251 and all music files are scanned and accessable over UPnP. Great work.
