Pinnacle (Roku) Soundbridge can't see playlists

Hi, I'm trialling this software. All seems good, except....

When I use my ROKU to look at playlists, it can't find any.

I have created two playlists by exporting them from iTunes. One was a smart playlist, the other one that I manually created. I exported them as M3U8 files. I placed them in a folder within the folder where my media is located called "playlists". I have configured two audio library folders in the Asset config screen: first the AUDIO folder with the Media and below it, the PLAYLIST folder for the two playlists.

However, nothing is picked up by my music client.

Any ideas? I'm running version 4.3(1); my MAC is running 10.10.1.

    Than you.

When you browse Playlists you see the folders?:

    [New Albums]
    [New Tracks]
    ..etc

No it just tells me that there are no entries. My playlists are only set up as individual tracks.

But when I browse artists, albums and tracks (i.e. not via playlists) everything is fine. I can even go through the navigation tree of artist -> album -> song.

You are not browsing that tree item in Asset, install Asset Control (in the testing section of this forum) to browse Asset on Windows.

Sorry - I'm not with you. I'm running Asset on MAC; not on Windows.

Sorry - I'm not with you. I'm running Asset on MAC; not on Windows. I have attempted to attach my config screen. Maybe this will help?

You need to try a control point which can run on your system, so you can browse Asset, try 'Kinsky'

Download the latest software & apps you need to control and manage your Linn system.

I've installed the Kinsky app. I browse Home/Library/AssetUPnP/Playlists.

I can see my playlists (as well as some others, such as Top Albums etc...). I can also see the songs within them.

However, the playlist is still blank on my soundbridge.

What is this app supposed to do? Should I be able to control the soundbridge from it? If so, that doesn't seem to be working either.

You have a limitation of the Soundbridge, for playlists to show it has to show Assets browse trees, instead it offers only fixed trees.
