    install Asset on Openmediavault?

    Hey Spoon & community,

I've just bought the premium AUPnP for Linux, however before I try and install it I have a few questions...

My server (HP Microserver N40L) runs OpenMediaVault as the OS, a Debian distro which is effectively an open source NAS OS much in the same vein as FreeNAS. Historically I've used the native MiniDLNA plugin, which is a development of the old ReadyDLNA from Netgear. The reason I'd like to move away from this is that it's not compatible with Kazoo controller, and I love Tidal which is only on Kazoo.

So, having much experience with Asset on Windows Home Server devices I wanted too go the Asset route.

I can putty into my server and, I guess, perform the necesary install, however I've been warned that if Asset uPnP uses Apache as the webserver it'll conflict with the OMV interface. Apparently if AUPnP uses NGINX I'm laughing.

Since most of that's over my head I'd reallty appreciate any advice/thoughts before I go ahead and attempt the install?

    Many thanks in advance.

    Cleggy.

We do not use Apache, we have our own custom web server.

And the install worked a charm, thanks again. Question - what is the path to my music? Daft I know. I have music in a share called "Music", which is an entire HDD located on SDB1. I've tried a few entries such as /dev/sdb1/Music and /share/Music but to no joy. Any thoughts on locating it?!

Seem to have sussed this, though if there's a more elegant way someone please let me know...

          My method:

Using ExtPlorer (plugin) I located the (I think) UUID of the disc, hence my path looks like: /media/6f71a56f-adec-41c3-b1fc-66b88e643032/Music

          It's scanning now, groovy!
