Qnap HS-210 it is compatible with QNAP Release 4.3 ?

Yes it is listed on the ARM release.

I have installed the program as your reply, but when i copy video or music files where is the best place to put the folders?

Asset is Audio only, copy to the music share on the nas.

I have reinstalled the program. On the qnap website it says 'go to applications' and 'upnp media server' and enable the service by ticking the checkbox says 'enabled upnp media server' and click on 'apply'. The upnp media server is now ready. I am ok upto looking in applications but all the other apps show up but not upnp media server. Any ideas?

Asset is separate, it would not be listed on the QNAP web site (for documentation), the manual above lists how to configure asset.

I installed the program as per instructions on this website and it says that it should be installed within Qnap.

That is correct yes. However the option you mentioned for enabling the upnp server, that is not for asset, but the server built into the qnap.
