Many Asset UPnP Internet Radio stations not playing

I'm evaluating Asset UPnP to use it primary for TuneIn radio streaming, but many of the stations –wich working perfectly on TuneIn site or app and on Radiotime site also- not playing at all. Currently triyng 5 Beta with same issues. I saw that many other users faced this in the past. Can you give an update on this pelase?

I too have this issue. About 95% of the radio stations will not play. My understanding is that it is an issue with my renderer (Moon MiND).

Some players ask for data in small chunks, and each time close the stream, for obvious reasons this will not work with internet radio which is a realtime source.

Hi - new to this forum - sorry if the answer is elsewhere.
I use Asset (and dbPoweramp - fabulous) with my system:
Qnap TS112, Linn Akurate DS, Lumin or Kinsky.
As far as playing ripped CDs from the NAS, it works fine.
Will not reliably play Radio Stations - a few come in OK - just a few - most come in and continuously fade out (as if there is a buffering issue.) The majority do not come through at all - The player just jumps on to the next track.
I have Virgin Cable which I have measured at 50MB/s. Radio stations accessed directly by my Akurate DS come in totally reliably.
I have the latest version of Asset - only just paid for it......
I am told that "Spoon" is the man to help. Any ideas???

I don't seem to be getting any help on this one. I may be being thick, but I cannot find any details on this site of a specific support line or e mail address. I went for the professional version of this specifically because I liked the idea of browsing international radio stations. I don't want to give up on it just yet.

As a test, install Asset onto your Windows PC, the trial version, then see if the DS can play radio from it reliably.

Hi Spoon, thanks for the reply. I installed Asset onto my Windows 8.1 laptop without a problem and got Kazoo to see it.
The problem is that I hit a tile saying that I need the professional version to hear radio stations!
Am I missing something?

Bump on this one, I'm facing the same kind of troubles with my registered version of Asset.

My setup is a Pioneer N-50, bubble UPNP server on windows (to make it an open home renderer that eats playlists), and Kinsky as controller point.
Asset feeds bubble that feeds the player.

My tunein account is OK, I get all my favorites, but only some of them will work.
For those that don't, simply nothing happens, that radio is shown in the player queue, but nothing happens (they are working on tunein, btw).

I have the same Problem.
I am very happy with Asset premium, dbpoweramp & Tunes all fresh installed....
But my Radio is not working. Even the tunein-account is working - it Shows in Kinsky the favorites but many Radio stations dont run or the fade away regularly like "bufferingproblem".
I am running Linn Klimax DS, Kinsky as control Point Software and asset upnp premium.

Please help me Spoon !
