I have just upgraded from Asset 4.1 to 4.3.0 (I believe) on my Ripnas with VHS1.
I followed the instructions and used the "Add In" feature. Previously I have done the upgrading manually according to the instructions in the sticky thread since update buttons were not shown or did not work.
After sucessfully installing the Add In for 4.3.0 I rebooted the Ripnas.
However, it still showed version 4.1.
So I uninstalled the Add In, logged into the Ripnas and verfied that Asset was gone.
Then I installed the Add In for 4.3.0 again, rebooted, and now I had version 4.3.
However, to the left of the 4.3 string there was a button "Update to 4.3.0" which was confusing since I have just installed 4.3.0.
Anyway, I pressed the button, which resulted in uninstallation + installation. I rebooted again.
Now still it write version 4.3 and there is still the button "Update to 4.3.0"
My questions:
(1) Should one always uninstall the Add In before installing a new version?
(2) Is there a bug with the update button or version handling?
Best Regards
