Asset UPnP on QNAP TS-259 Pro+

    Hi.

When will an install pkg for QNAP devices like the TS-259 Pro+ be available?

    The avaliable pkg like

    QNAP Release 4.3
    ARM x19 (n12, n19, n20, n21, HS-210 where 'n' is 1, 2, 4, etc)
    Intel (n69, n70 where 'n' is 1, 2, 4, etc)
ARM x09 (not sold for last 5 years)

cannot be installed on the TS-259 Pro+ running the QNAP firmware 4.1.x :(

    Best regards,
    Steffen

These are the 32 bit intel ones, they will not be supported.

      This is pretty uncool ...

Because there are a lot of QNAPs out there which our only ~3 years old and
the users want Asset UPnP to be running on them as it is available, now.

Why not compiling a 32bit version of the intel pkg?

It was a discontinued product before Asset was even ported.

Well, looks like 'Illustrate' has made enough money and does not need some new customers :thumbdown

As a 32bit version will not be available, I'll stay with the 'twonkey server'.

          Bye bye.

I just purchased Auralic Aries and it can go with Minimserver or other UPnP (e.g., Asset). Just want to give it a try on Asset with my QNAP 269H (which is quite a new model in the market running Atom).

After trying to install it but failed. And then do some research on this and found this post. If it still hold true, then it is really a joke and you people doesn't know how the NAS market running. It can only say this company is being ran by some unqualified staff. Luckily some better free choices are out there, thanks for saving $30 bucks...
