    why unkown ?

I have upgraded to R15.1 and now a curious thing happens.
In the first line (Artist) of my ID-Tag I do write the name of the conductor / the orchestra (if orchestral work) or the name of the interpreter (Joseph Bulva : pianoforte; Gerald Finley : barytone and so on).
Thus for the album : W.A.Mozart_DON GIOVANNI (Harnoncourt) I have :
Artist : Nikolaus Harnoncourt / Concentus Musicus Wien; Arnold Schönberg Chor
After the upgrade when I play something and click on ''Playing'' to see the data, every name is preceded by the word ''unknown'' :
Unknown : Nikolaus Harnoncourt / Concentus Musicus Wien; Arnold Schönberg Chor
What has happened ? Please advise.Thank you

    R15.1 is dBpoweramp, not asset?

Yes of course. What I mean is: I didn't change anything to Asset's configuration but after upgrading to R15 I was afflicted by this issue. Are the two things connected ?

Try reinstalling Asset, then do a rescan (refresh all).

Nothing doing. Uninstalled asset and reinstalled : same issue. Then I recovered the backup of the system before downloading R15 and installed asset again : same issue. Is there a bug ?

It is possible that foobar is looking for an Album Artist, check if one is present.

                  Re: why unkown ?

I believe that foobar will automatically use ARTIST as ALBUM ARTIST if ALBUM ARTIST is missing. But it sounds as if "something" (blanks?) are in the Album Artist field and thus the unknown. Also, foobar2000 is infinitely flexible and I have mine setup to show various things when it is playing a track, some of which don't exist in the file and show up as [unknown]. Check your "playback state display formatting" in the "default user interface" under the preferences menu. Anything odd there in the string for window or status bar ?

I cannot see anything odd in the playback state display formatting, but in this matter my knowledge is very limited. I am attaching a screenshot (Hope I did it right)Click image for larger version
