Help - Can't get asset to locate my music

I've just installed Asset onto my QNAP TS-212, but I can't get it to locate my FLAC files.

Can anyone help ? - how do I identify the file name/location and in what format does it need to be input into the configuration page ?

On my PC the NAS is mapped as the Z drive, with music in a folder called 'home', but Asset doesn't recognise this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I've now spent an hour on this to no avail !

    Thanks, Nigel

What was the default path it showed?

    normally it is something like:

    /share/Multimedia

it would not be Z: as this is a mapped drive to your computer.

      Hi Spoon

the default was as shown /share/Multimedia, however there is only one track there.

My music shows in the Music Station under Private Collection, which has a padlock symbol next to it.

      Any advice would be appreciated.

      Thanks

OK, I seem to have found a folder with more music in, however my problem is now that it's telling me there are 34,000 tracks, which I know is wrong. I also have Twonky installed, and there should be about 17,000 tracks.

        Any ideas ?

        Thanks again.

It must be reading 2 locations, ie every track is duplicated, make sure only 1 path is listed in that library section. Then do a Rescan (Refresh All).
