Cover images not displayed on QNAP version but on Windows

Having tried Asset 4.3 on QNAP i got many covers that did not show at all. Tried installing the Windows version of Asset 4.3 and all covers show correctly.
There is something in the QNAP version that cant handle folder.jpg, and embedded jpgs, correctly.

Please see this folder.jpg as an example of a cover that does not work on QNAP but works on the Windows version of Asset 4.3.

Are these jpgs progressive encoded? if so they are not currently supported on QNAP / linux.
