don't know what the issue is, but my suspicion is that something in the editing of the tracks that don't play was messed up. Carefully look at the directory/file names of those items to see if they are correct. Can you play any of the nonplaying songs if instead of the playlist you select one of those songs by browsing to Artist/Album rather than using playlist. I assume one can do that in ASSET. (the latter is to test that the songs themselves will play from your NAS).
