Asset for QNAP and WD TV Live

Installed Asset Trial edition on my QNAP TS-421 and it is working well. Everything plays fine on my PS3 and my Roku 3 for both MP3 and FLAC.

However, on my WD TV Live, music plays for about 15 seconds and then stops and the WD TV Live says Asset has disconnected. Same issue with both MP3 and FLAC songs. Any ideas on what is happening?

    Thanks.

Are they both on the same wired network?

Same wired network. All plugged into the same Gigabit switch.

No problems with the Roku 3 when I swapped it with the WD TV Live to the same cable.

Both units work fine accessing Twonkyserver hosted on the same QNAP box.

        Your WD has latest firmware?

Firmware is current. The unit is two years old.

By the way, this is not really a showstopper issue for me since I am going to replace it with another Roku 3 unit. I was just curious -- but if this is not a known issue with Asset then it is has to be something weird with my WD TV.

          Thanks again for you help.

It is almost never the UPnP server, as files are presented as a simple http get, if there was an issue it would affect most devices out there.
