Combining FLAC and MP3

Hi
Is there a way Asset can serve the FLAC if available and if not serve the MP3.
I have all my CD's as FLAC (and MP3's actually) and then I have some additional MP3. They are separated in two separate folder trees.
Does Asset use V2.4 ID tags and RGAlbum gain?

Asset can read 2.4 tags and apply replay gain if you enable it in asset configuration, also set to serve As Wave for the flac and mp3 files (so that Asset decodes the files).

Asset will present both mp3 and flac, so you will get duplicates.
