    Problem streaming FLAC/WAV 192Khz/24Bit to Pioneer N50

I have a problem streaming 192/24 FLACs to my Pioneer N50. It started to play but intermittence every 10sec. Then further skipping to a next track in 192/24 never started to play. Very strange. I have tested with transcoding to WAV 192/24 LocalAccount/Service , same problem. I have 2 albums with 192/24. Some tracks on the other album automatically transcoded to WAV 192/24 but the intermittence is also there. Everything to 96/24 works fantastic with cover streaming. My N50 is connected via Ethernet cable and has newest firmware 1.009. With Serviio streaming of 192/24 works well without intermittence, so my connection is not the problem. Please help me I want to purchase the full version because the rest of the software is fantastic.

FLAC files are sent as is, if Asset is running on your laptop then it has to read the data (from a nas) and send to the player. If there is wireless anywhere there, then this is likely the cause.

Cannot be the problem. Asset is installed on my pc connected to the router via Ethernet, not WLAN. N50 is connected to the same router. I can stream hd videos without problems.

As a test switch asset to the local account.

I have two albums in 192/24. I now converted them to WAV 192/24 and then back to FLAC 192/24 (Encoding level 5). One album now works without problems! Seems that there was an error in the data files. But the other album, it is the new album from Wycliffe Gordon on hdtracks with a dynamic range of 17! 4minutes are about 200MB here. This album intermittence every 10sec. No chance.

I think I have a problem because I'm using powerline adapter between N50 and my router. But the data rate is about 180Mbps which is enought. Think I must give a higher priority for streaming in the network. Do you know how I can handle this? I have a QOS setting dialog in the software of my powerline adapter and switching from "Online Gaming" to "Audio Video" but no change.

I do not think QOS will help. If nothing else is using the network, then it operates as fast as it can for the single use.

Hi Arminius, did you manage to solve the problem? I am having the same issue. Had it working at some point, but for unknown reason this buffering problem started with 192/24 only.

Hello everybody, I'm testing the Asset too, and I'm finding out the same problems mentioned before. I don't think it's a wi-fi or Lan problem, if I start a song from my library via Asset from one of my 2 pc's (both connected via LAN), it started to play but intermittence happens every 10sec. But if I search the same song using the remote control of the Pioneer n-50, or using the Pioneer ControlApp in my Android device, It plays with no interruptions and everything is ok...I do some conversions with no results, even with normal mp3 files...
The same problem if I choose a radio station to play on the N-50. Using Asset via pc's does not work well, but choosing a station from the asset internet radio menu via Pioneer ControlApp or Android, it does well...So I don't think it's a bit rate or file conversion problem...
