WHS 2011 and Asset with Foobar2000 internetradio problem.

When using PS Audio Elyric or Kinsky to control Foobar2000 and the AssetNAS for internetradio i get sometimes error messages from Foobar:

Unable to open item for playback (Unsupported format or corrupted file):
"http://10.141.185.144:26125/content/c2/b16/f44100/r939-co584.forced.mp3"

This happens for 75% of the internetstations. Other ones will be played.

What can i do to correct it?

When using PS Audio Elyric finding stations takes a long time, with Kinsky this is better.

It is possible a timeout in foobar, where it takes upto 10 seconds to get the data from the radio station, most streamers will wait a long time and not report an error).

I tried it alsoo directly to my i-pad, same problem. I-pad doesn't play either, no error message.....
Some will play but most of the stations will not.
For example:
Top40/Pop: 100hitz - Top40 us 128kbps
181.FM power

Maybe you can try these for me?

There will always be radio stations which are not active (or active in the formats asset can stream from).

Spoon, i alsoo miss the data, which artist is playing, do you know which radiostations let me see the data?

One is enough for testing...

I will check this out!

Alsoo i installed AssetNAS on my laptop to see if it will respond faster then the Ripnas.
But Kinsky cannot detect it. What to do?
Oh, alsoo Foobar is not detected......
Yesterday no problem with Foobar...

Likely firewall software blocking your programs.
