LPCM on Panasonic Viera TV set

I'm trying to play my collection of FLAC encoded music on my Panasonic Viera VT30 TV set. Transcoding into mp3 works fine but transcoding to LPCM does not. The TV does not display any error message but won't play the files. It just shows the information about the file, the progress bar won't move and there is no sound. I've tried to play the same files with Serviio DLNA server set to transcode FLAC files to LPCM and have had no problems with that setup. So, why doesn't it work with Asset UPnP then? Could the LPCM format differ?

LPCM is raw audio, the format cannot change, only how we advertise the format.

The logs does indeed show that Serviio and Asset UPnP advertises the file differently:

It will be something that causes the tv to not accept it, the trouble lies with the TV only accepting specific advertisements, where as for example if we change to

audio/L16;rate=44100;channels=2

then a bunch of other players stop working...so we try to find a common middle ground and support as many players as possible.

It might not even be that part, but something else, so would need 20 or 30 different settings....instead it is best to just identify which players are broken and leave it as that.
