Hi Spoon
First time poster but long time user of dbpoweramp MC and AssetUPnP. Thanks very much - love them!
Currently using AssetUPnP to stream my Spotify playlists to my Naim Uniti via the pc sound card capture function, with the iphone app 'remoteless' to control the Spotify play/stop/next/tracks functions. AssetUPnP is rock solid and work great for me. But I do find it a little cumbersome working between two apps for the UPnP stream (nStream to setup the audio stream and remoteless to select track and play).
Have you considering adding Spotify integration in to AssetUPnP? Basically something like a 'Spotify' container entry, with some basic sub-containers; Artist, Album, Playlists, etc, and allowed integration directly to the music library using the Spotify client APIs? This would allow me to browse my Spotify playlists using the nStream client and play all from one place.
Sounds good in theory but obviously I'm glossing over the complexities and work involved to bring it together..
Eitherway, if you had considered it I recon it'd be a great idea and fill a bit of a niche. Wouldn't really be Naim specific as any UPnP player would benefit. Though if not then thanks again and keep up the great work!
Cheers
Joe
