multi fault disaster - need desperately help

Hello Spoon, something has changed my system (Windows Home Server/ Asset UPnP Rel. 4). And I cannot reset. Neither "restart Asset" nor hardware reset change anything.
First what I did or what happened by oneself: I ticked the button "contributing Artists with Main Artist"
After a disastrous result I re-clicked (see below). Nothing happened. The faults still remain.
Unfortunately windows came the same time with an update and requested a reset. So two different changes at the same time.

Result: Many album icons depart or multiply. Some of them show up the album picture twice. The containing tracks are identically. Other albums show up several times. The tracks are distributed between the album pictures. And some albums have lost their picture. The field is blank. It's not the empty CD picture. It's blank, nothing, nada.
Additionally I got the message " uMediaLibrary encountered a problem and needed to close" and on average all 5-10 minutes the music fades away for a second, while the CPU usage increase close to 100%.

Again nothing change. I restarted the server several times. I did the same with the Asset UpnP. And I tried to refresh all.

Please help! I am out of ideas.

    with regards, Uwe

Did it. The same as before. Fades out every 5 minutes for 1-2 seconds. CPU overflow. Actually CPU usage is always high. Same picture with the albums: Many blank, double und multiple counted.
Then I changed the Running mode from Local Account to Service.
First of all Library contains 15804 Tracks (16167 in Local account). Second no fade out within 30 min. CPU usage level fairly low (5-10%).
      All albums appear right.
One difference between both modes is "UpStream Artwork" it is aktive in Local Account and not active in Service.

Still messy. I am happy to have a workaround for now.

Anyway, it would be great to solve the problem. Regards, Uwe

it was possibly scanning the tracks, hence why there was a high cpu usage.

Yes, you might be right. The software is busy with anything, but always and more ore less stopples. It's going to cook my CPU. I still have this kind of CPU overflow and the gaps in music replay. Also, the database is corrupted. Too much tracks and albums are shown in the "Local Account" mode.

The question what remains is, how can I get ride of the whole database which is stored in the "Local Account" without destroying the database in the "Library" mode? And is then the database rebuild automatically and possibly in a proper way?

And just a question out of curiosity, what are the differences between "Local Account" and "Service" ? And why is it ok in the "Service Mode" only?

          Help is welcome, Uwe

If service works for you, run as service as does not require log on of system to serve.
