Scanning library after changing Mediadatabase fields is bad / needs weeks!!! HELP!

    Hi,

I changed the mediadatabasefields.text to add "Label" as a tag.

Recommended is after changing to make a "refresh all".

Now my library scanned 120 songs of my 40000 after 12 hour, that's not normal!!!

    Any idea how to solve?

    Thanks in advance.

Perhaps you change the file wrong, close asset, delete the mediadatabasefields.txt

Then restart asset and try a full rescan without the label, to see the time taken.

Ok, deleted the whole system and installed new.

      Now it detects fast.

Before I'll try again my changes.

      Here is what I want:

I made a tag called "Label" . I use MP3tags for that things. I want to use it the same way as "Genre" What should I change?

      Pleas help.

      Thanks.

          See:

These are instructions for the Windows version. For Linux/Mac/QNAP, see below. Asset has the ability to display custom ID Tags (non-standard), with a little configuring. For example your FLAC library contains a unique tag of 'MOOD', you can add this to asset by: Start >> Run >> Regedit: Browse to:
