First track artist / album identifiaction problems with WAV

I have just started running a trial version of Asset and am very impreseed with the way it handles all my back library of WMA files. However I find with WAV files that in most, but not all, instances the first track on an album shows as Artist and Album unknown, the track title is correct and the track plays. I have found that in some, but not all, instances if I change the track number, that is, for example, track 01 to 13 on a 12 track album, everything is recognised! Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

We have come across this before, for what ever reason track one sometimes has no tags written by WMP, Asset can only read the tags if they are there.

Try using a ripper without this issue (hint dbpoweramp)
