Hi Spoon,

I have headed over here from the Linn forums to try out Assets ability to stream 24bit wav's from FLAC files. A couple of questions about the general use of Asset UPNP if you please...

1) The small artwork pictures in Kinsky are very grainy yet the full size artwork is fine. Does Asset downsample browsing images? To what size? Is this configurable?

2) Is it possible to get rid of the Alphabet subsections in Artist/Album listing. I have seen configuration to adjust this but not to turn if off.

3) Can Asset display albums within Artist/Album listing in year order rather than alphabeticaly. I have seen that you can list ALL albums by year.

4) This may be my issue but with my own playlists (m3u) I do not see ANY artwork with these. Is this correct?

5) Is it possible to turn off Artwork for Artists listing - It seems to offer a 'random' album as artwork for an artist which I find illogical!

Asset does not downsample browse images. If you disable the A to Z option for all the Artist / Album artist it would remove that option (you have to restart Asset).

3) Perhaps add the Album by Release to an Artist subfolder

4) You would not get artwork for the m3u container

5) Yes disable the upstream artwork option

New navigation branches added to the list always appear at the end of the list. I prefer to navigate by Album Artist/Album > Year order and have created a new navigation branch for this. But it comes last on the control point. It would be nice if it was first. But I cant see any way to reorder the navigation tree.

Many control points sort everything alphabetically, so you cannot alter the order.
